Recently my co-worker and I were asked to check out a new restaurant called El Galeon near Santa Clara. I had seen this intriguing new building while driving to Penonome recently and like all locals in the beach community was eager to check out a new restaurant. The El Galeon was a pleasant surprise and my what appeared to be a hand made hamburger patty was delicious. If seafood is what you are searching for then come and discover what the El Galeon near Santa Clara has to offer.

Restaurante El Galeon is a lovely new restaurant not to far from the beach community that offers a nice clean atmosphere both inside and out with comfortable chairs, nice decorations and clean washrooms. We were there for a late lunch, 2pm, and there were still 12 other guests there. The restaurant has good lighting, lots of windows and their landscaping is very nice. The outside terrace does not face the highway, offering a quieter dining experience. There is a quaint little bar down stairs with many tables overlooking the garden area, with a big screen TV for sports for those occasions when you simply want to meet someone for a drink. The upstairs menu can also be ordered from here. After ordering our drinks we were brought a complimentary order of garlic bread. My lunch consisted of a bacon cheese burger with fries for $8.50, it was a half pound of meat and I could not finish it! I was impressed to see that the plate was brought with little cups of mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup, I did not have to ask for them! My companion ordered the corvina and mashed potatoes for $8.50 which he said was quite good.
